Nursing News: Founder of allnurses is Dead!
Brian Short, founder of the nursing website allnurses.com together with his wife and three children have been found dead in their home, Lake Minnetonka in Greenwood.
All died from gunshot wounds in an apparent murder-suicide, the South Lake Minnetonka Police department said.
According to a Hennepin County medical examiner report released Saturday morning: Brian Short, 45, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head; Karen Short; 48, and their three children Brooklyn; 14, Madison; 15, and Cole; 17 all died of shotgun wounds to the head.
Brian Short's death was determined to be a suicide, while his wife and three childrens' were determined to be homicides, the report said.
A Thursday evening post on AllNurses.com, a nursing industry website founded by Brian Short, confirmed that the family of five was dead.

At a Friday news conference, Police did not say who did the shooting but did say that a shotgun likely used was found at the scene.
