\nMyth #1–You can rupture your hymen and lose your virginity
\nafter using tampons.<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
\nTruth\u2013Hymen is an elastic
\ntissue which can easily stretch to accommodate the tampon. It is not necessary
\nthat you might harm the hymen while using a tampon. Also, breaking the hymen
\ndoesn\u2019t mean you lose your virginity. To lose your v-card you need to have
\npenetrative sex. Remember, a hymen can break while exercising, cycling,
\nhorseback riding, stretching, etc.  Also,
\nmany women are born without a hymen. So an intact hymen is not the proof of
